Material and Labor Cost Estimating

ELITEmep provides material and labor cost estimate reports. Piping labor is calculated using either MCAA or PHCC labor units. Sheet-metal labor is calculated using SMACNA labor standards.

We calculate material costs using our price database. Our price database provides manufacturer’s list pricing. This database is updated weekly.

We provide recap reports for material and labor. All reports can be customized to the clients’ preference.

All reports are provided in PDF or Excel format.

ELITEmep will solicit subcontractor proposals from the clients’ approved subcontractors upon request. We can also develop budget estimates for piping and duct insulation, temperature controls, excavation, air and water balance, crane and rigging.

Indirect labor costs for coordination, CADD and BIM, start up, commissioning, are included to name a few. The G&A estimate also includes field supervision, project management, job site facilities, permits, deliveries, tools and equipment rentals.

ELITEmep develops a customized excel workbook with the final estimate summary upon request. The workbook includes several worksheets. A worksheet is provided for each of the following categories:

Labor evaluation and adjustment, fixtures, equipment, specialties, miscellaneous, general and administrative, and subcontractors. All the data from these sheets are transferred to the Final Estimate Summary sheet.

The customer can make adjustments to each of the above categories and input overhead and fee mark up.
